The Netherlands Premiere ‘Slow Down’

The Dutch broadcaster AVROTROS told us a while back that it would be Douwe Bob who would represent the nation at Eurovision 2016, and now, we are able to hear the song they will be sending. During a press conference, the official video for Douwe Bob’s song Slow Down was presented, which you will be able to watch down below.

According to Douwe, the song calls to slow down the pace of life to enjoy the smaller things in life, and he explains, ‘We are all going way too fast. There is constant pressure to prove yourself. Slow Down is a protest song against myself, against the pace at which I live life in Amsterdam. When walking through the forests of Sweden, or riding a horse through the fields in Spain, a peace descends on you and you see everything in a better perspective. It is such a great feeling!’

  1. Douwe Bob is cute, funny and a good singer but he needs a little bit more of sparkle to remember the song. Douwe use you’re hips / Pelvis or do something that is to remember or remarkable. I saw you’re nude pic at the Swedish beach. Now show them the whole package during you’re three minutes. The song is simple and the extra ingredients have to come from you’re performance. So do something unforgettable
