Back in June, Bulgaria selected their Junior Eurovision participant through a national final. The process included 3 shows, 2 semi-finals, and a live final. A total of 15 acts took to the stage, and after the televoting and jury vote were revealed, we knew it would be 10 year old Lidia Ganeva who would represent Bulgaria at this years’ contest.
Now, we know that Lidia had recorded her song over the summer along with the composer Vladimir Ampov-Grada, who is one of Bulgaria’s top composers and artists. She was also accompanied by her vocal coach, Rumi Ivanova. The song is called Magical day, and was written by Vladimir, and Illiya Grigorov.
Earlier this month, Lidia performed her song for her fellow classmates, but now we can present to you the official video for the song Magical Day. The video for the song was directed by Vasil Stefanov, who wanted to demonstrate the message of the song within the video, that being, inspiration. Within the video there are more than 20 children demonstrating different skills, including dancing, sport and music.
