Hungary: Second Heat Produces Six More Qualifiers

Last night, the second A Dal heat took place with six more acts chosen to continue in the competition. In total, 10 acts took to the stage, including former Hungarian participant Kallay Saunders. The top 5 qualifiers were determined by a mix of televote and jury vote, and then the sixth qualifier was decided by a second round of public voting.

Here are the ten acts:

  • AnnaElza feat. Juli Kása – Jártam

  • Chase – Dust in the Wind

  • Kállay Saunders Band – 17

  • Gina Kanizsa – Fall Like Rain

  • Mrs Columbo – Frozen King

  • Zoltán Mujahid – On My Own

  • Peet Project – Kill Your Monster

  • Peter Kovary & The Royal Rebels – It’s a Riot

  • Ádám Szabó – Together

  • Andi Tóth – I’ve Got A Fire

The vote was won by Kállay Saunders Band, who received a total of 42 points. The top five qualifiers were:

The second round of voting sent Ádám Szabó into the next round. He was voted in at 6th in the first round of voting, and the public agreed that he deserved a spot in the next round of the competition. These six qualifiers will join the first six qualifiers from heat 1 in the semi-finals.

The next show will be held on the 4th of February, and will be the last heat of the competition. The shows were rescheduled due to a tragic incident in Italy involving a number of Hungarian people.
