Supernova Heat 2: Four Acts Qualify

Last night the second heat of Latvia’s Eurovision selection process Supernova took place. A total of 11 acts performed, and only four acts will move on to the next stage. The voting consists of public and jury voting, with two songs qualifying due to televoting, and two through the jury vote.

Here’s the running order for the show:

  1. Katerine Lukins – Silhouette

  2. Markus Riva – Dynamite

  3. Toms Kalderauskis – We Won’t Back Down

  4. UP – One By One

  5. Miks Galvanovskis – Runaway

  6. The HiQ – Taju Ot Lyubvi

  7. Santa Daņeļeviča – Your Breath

  8. Laura & Chris – Little Weird

  9. My Radiant You – All I Know

  10. The Ludwig – I’m In Love With You

  11. Triana Park – Line

The voting revealed that these four acts will be returning to the semi-final next weekend:

The jury picks were Santa and The Ludvig, while the public voted in My Radiant You and Triana Park. Unfortunately this means we’ll be saying goodbye to the other acts, including Markus Riva.

Next week the semi-final will take place where the eight qualifiers from the two heats will be performing again for 4 spots in the final. Here is the complete list of semi-finalists:

  • Miks Dukurs – Spiritual Priest

  • Lauris Valters – Magic Years

  • Franco Franco – Up

  • Linda Leen – Who is in charge

  • Santa Daņeļeviča – Your Breath

  • My Radiant You – All I Know

  • The Ludwig – I’m In Love With You

  • Triana Park – Line

Are you happy with the qualifiers?
