A while back, Alma was announced as the next French representative for Eurovision in 2017 with the song Requiem, which was originally released entirely in French. There were reports that the song would be revamped to be bilingual, and now the official bilingual version has been released alongside the reworked official video.
The song has undergone a few huge changes, with the most obvious being the implementation of English lyrics in the choruses. The instrumentation of the song is also different, with the strings section stronger in some sections. The song overall feels more dramatic, however you can decide for yourself if you like the changes made to the song!
